His famous original songs include the ‘BBM’ song, a reply to chutney singer Sally Sagram’s ‘Go So Nah’, and ‘Sally Wine Fuh Me’. Soon Joel hopes to release two new hot hits, ‘Why You Blaming Me’ and ‘Bind Right Ova’. He plans on entering both the soca and chutney competitions next year with the aim to be the next chutney king. The artiste aims to contribute his talents in promoting local music and build a much needed appreciation for it. Joel told this publication that with support from his fans, friends and family he will definitely succeed in the music industry.
